📢 Big news, East Aurora! Kindergarten registration is now OPEN. Head over to 💻 eastauroraschools.org to complete your registration online.

7th Grade Latin students stepped back in time for a simulated day in the ancient Roman Forum. They created Greco-Roman inspired products to sell in their own tabernae and bought and sold from one another — all while conversing in Latin! Their creativity was truly inspiring.
8th Grade Latin hosted our inaugural Latin Olympics! After learning about the history of the ancient Games, students designed their own Greco-Roman inspired competitions, wrote the rules in Latin using the imperative, and competed for victory — with champions earning laurel crowns. Citius, altius, fortius, East Aurora! 🌿
The Latin Club brought learning to life with a field trip to Dailys, where students made homemade pasta, meatballs, and cannoli. A special thank you to Karen Mayhew for being such a gracious host and patient teacher!
Experiential learning at its best! #oneEA

Today our Foreign Language students had a special opportunity to learn beyond the textbook! 🌎
We welcomed a group of future educators from Chili who shared insights about their culture, the pathway to becoming a teacher in their home country, and their experiences learning about American culture and teaching pedagogy.
This meaningful exchange allowed our students to practice authentic language skills while gaining a deeper understanding of global education and cultural perspectives. Experiences like this bring language learning to life and remind us how connected our world truly is.
Thank you to our guests for inspiring our students and sharing your journey with us! #oneEA
