The East Aurora Family Support Center (EAFSC) is a great resource available to our students and families. Their goal is to remove barriers to student learning by working to strengthen the physical, social and emotional health of our community. Through the foundation of collaborative partnerships between schools and community agencies, the EAFSC will provide students and their families with a comprehensive network of support. We can assist families with linkage to emergency services (food, housing, financial), mental health support, and educational opportunities.
We offer a multitude of highly competitive sports programs including Track and Field, Field Hockey, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Football, Baseball, Softball, Lacrosse, and many more!

AFA provides students a multi-disciplinary approach to movie-making, culminating in a student-produced film festival. This program combines electives and a core course to fulfill the New York State English graduating requirement. The academy has been designed as a team-collective in which each student's participation is integral to the success of the other members. Thus, the program mimics a working environment of a production company, and includes field trips for on-site film shoots.
We offer counseling services in each building with a robust staff on hand to handle all the needs of our students. Keep a look out for our furry counseling buddies in the middle school!

We are also a 1:1 Chromebook district which means each student is issued a Chromebook to assist them in their studies.
We offer chorus, orchestra, and band starting in fourth grade!

Parkdale Elementary is home to a beautiful garden that our students maintain. They are able to see the food process from seed to table.
Creative Writing Club [CWC] meets twice monthly to plan our literary magazine which comes out two to three times a year. In addition, we share our writing and work on fun and unique activities practicing the art of poetry and prose.
East Aurora Theatre Arts and Drama Club strive to have students at the center of our productions by guiding them in leadership positions on the stage, in the orchestra pit, backstage and on costume crew. Students promote the show on our production staff and, of course, take the stage. In addition, student instrumentalists make up all of the pit for most shows. From student directors to student designers, we focus on giving high schoolers as much responsibility as possible.
We are fortunate to have been recognized for choreography and technical aspects of the shows. Our graduates have gone on to jobs in theater, television and other areas of the entertainment industry.
East Aurora is lucky to have tremendous support for the arts whether for one of the oldest and most successful community theaters of the Aurora Players or hosting the national music festivals. Our high school receives the same support from our community with sold-out performances.
Most importantly, we're dedicated to providing young musicians, actors, dancers and backstage workers the most team-oriented experience possible. Musical theater is certainly about entertaining an audience, but it's also about making art, an endeavor that should be personal and meaningful for all involved.
