Students in Mrs. Brown's Kindergarten class earned a special celebration by collecting compliments for positive behavior in the halls, during specials, and throughout the day.
Best part? They came up with the ideas and voted on the reward—and a Science Day won! 🧪🔬
Students rotated through hands-on stations exploring Rocks & Minerals, Sinking and Floating, Wacky Experiments, and Candy Catapults.
Learning, teamwork, and fun all in one day—well done, students! 💙 #oneEA
Thank you to all the classes who created cards for Valentines for Veterans (Operation Valentine).
Because of your kindness, Acacia Park Cemetery doubled the number of cards donated, collecting an amazing 2,654 cards—many made by Parkdale students!
We’re so proud to see Parkdale featured in a Channel 2 news story highlighting this effort. Check out the link below to see the cards, photos, and a poster proudly displaying our school name.
Parkdale is AWESOME! 💙 #oneEA

This week, the EAHS Student Government and varsity basketball teams are teaming up to raise funds for Coaches vs. Cancer, a nationwide partnership between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches that promotes cancer awareness and healthy living.
💵 Students have been fundraising through donation jars all week, and the effort continues at Friday’s basketball games on January 30.
• $5 entrance fee for the girls and boys games
• All proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society
🎯 EAHS has a schoolwide goal of $2,000—and if we reach it, Principal Mr. Roberts has agreed to shave his head!
🏆 Plus, the grade level that raises the most money will have a chance to win Sabres tickets, courtesy of Student Government.
Students and families are encouraged to bring any size donation on Thursday or Friday to help support this important cause.
