The program provides a forum for students to learn about the law, legal system and court procedures as well as improve on skills such as listening, reasoning and ability to think on their feet. Join a team and represent East Aurora as an attorney and/ or witness both on prosecution and defense. Be an expert witness, deliver an opening statement, question witnesses, cross examine the other side’s witnesses, deliver a summation/ closing argument to a judge or jury. Enter a real courtroom before an actual judge.

Club activities include: Rehearse, practice, and prepare each meeting through a series of lessons, games, exercises, and activities. Take on roles as lawyer and/ or witness on the prosecution/ plaintiff side and on the defense. Take part in the tournament sponsored by the Erie County Bar Association in January and February. Winners of this tournament move on to regional and state competitions in March and April.
