Our student-athletes hit the road to the Ken-Ton YMCA for the first annual NYSO Basketball Showcase at the middle school level!
It was a day filled with growth and collaboration as our students worked alongside peers from other districts. A highlight of the trip was the professional instruction from the Cavs Academy (the Cleveland Cavaliers youth program), who led our students through elite basketball skill sessions. We are so proud of how our Blue Devils represented East Aurora through their teamwork and dedication!

🔵⚪🟡Our Board of Education meeting on April 21st was a powerful reminder of what makes East Aurora special.
It wasn't just about numbers and votes; it was about the passion and dedication shown by every person in the room.
Our Community & Staff: We heard heartfelt advocacy from groups like the EAFA, PTO, and SEPTSA regarding class sizes, special education, and the Family Support Center. Their voices are the heartbeat of our district.
Our Administration: Mr. Russ and Ms. George provided the transparent data and operational updates needed to guide our vision.
Our Board: By facilitating open dialogue and listening intently to community feedback, the Board moved us forward by adopting the $48,768,722 General Fund Budget.
When we work together, our students win. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to the mic and sat at the table! Find meeting highlights here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fRYUd7XiiNjwQGNoW-rVPAEdl5mxN5pZ/view?usp=sharing

In honor of National School Librarian’s Day on April 4, we’re spotlighting two of our amazing librarians and their current book picks:
📖 Battle Bunny & Stuart Little — fun, imaginative reads perfect for younger learners
📖 The Price You Pay for College & Forever Ripley — thoughtful picks for older students and families
From sparking a love of reading to guiding research and curiosity, our librarians do so much more than manage books—they open doors to endless possibilities for our students every single day.
Be sure to thank a librarian this week for all they do! 💙
