Scammers are creating fake social media accounts or websites that claim to offer livestreams of games, concerts, and other school events. These fraudulent links often ask viewers to create an account, provide personal information, or even enter credit card details.
East Aurora Schools is urging families and community members to remain vigilant and avoid clicking on suspicious livestream links.
How to Stay Safe
If you see a livestream link shared in a community group or post that looks unofficial, proceed with caution. If the link asks you to sign up, enter personal information, or provide payment — it is a scam.
