Did you know there's such a thing as Kindergarten Bat Day? If your student was in a Kindergarten class yesterday, I bet you know all about it! From practicing writing our letters to using our fine motor skills, to learning about bats, and using our creativity to tell a story these Kindergarteners are "bat-ready"!
We'd like to take this moment to recognize the East Aurora Board of Education for their continued support and commitment to the success of the students of East Aurora. We are truly blessed to have these amazing, selfless individuals that devote so much of their time and energy to bettering the school experience for all of our students. After a week of reading Clifford the Big Red Dog books, by Norman Bridwell, Mrs. Wolford's Pre-K class celebrated Clifford's birthday. The students learned the "It's Clifford" song, completed Clifford ten frames, wrote about what gift they would give Clifford, made Clifford ears, used blocks and connectors to make bones for Clifford, made Clifford a birthday cake in the dramatic play center, did stamping with the letter "C", read books to Clifford, and enjoyed Puppy Chow:)
