Hi, my name is Katie Oleksy. I have been working as a Speech- Language Pathologist (SLP) within the East Aurora School District since 2011. I have had experience working at our Non-Public schools in the community, the High School, Middle School and Parkdale Elementary. I love my job and enjoy my time helping students with speech language issues, as well as learning from my students. My approach to therapy is that it should be fun and meaningful to my students. I strongly believe in a team approach between teachers, other therapists, parents and myself. I am an East Aurora High School graduate. I graduated from  SUNY Geneseo with my Bachelor and Master degrees in Speech Language Pathology. When I am not working, I am spending time with my husband, three children, one dog and two cats. I love hiking, spending time outside, cooking and watching the Buffalo Bills!

I strive to create functional therapy plans in a fun and engaging therapy environment, to help students carry over learned strategies into everyday tasks. I believe working as a team is the key to overall student success. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter. Together we spend time with family and friends, support our Buffalo sports teams, and love visiting new places.

Hi!  My name is Rakhi Kohli and I have been working as a Speech Language Pathologist within the East Aurora School District since 2021. I have been working with Elementary, Middle School and High School students and have worked at the non-public schools in the area such as the Aurora Waldorf School, Guiding Earth Montessori School, Immaculate Conception, and the  Mandala School. I have prior experience working with students in Early Intervention (birth to three) and preschool aged students as well as experience at the hospital and nursing homes. I graduated from the University at Buffalo with my Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

I try to make speech and language therapy fun and functional so that students can carry over their skills to their homes and communities. I love when students have their own ideas and try to incorporate those into therapy, such as a group that wanted to make comic books. Working together with teachers, clinicians,  and families is important to help a child succeed. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons. We can be found playing board games, reading, cooking  or being outside together.
