Good Evening,
Our regional BOCES (Erie 2-Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES) has partnered with the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation and others to perform an ambitious study of the post-pandemic educational landscape of our region. The goal is to ensure we are primed to meet the needs of every one of our K-12 students at both the regional and district level.
As a key data point for this project, BOCES is asking school districts and numerous regional organizations to help them collect as many thoughts, opinions, and solutions as possible. This will ensure a large-scale, comprehensive assessment of the needs of our region and its 27 component school districts. Data gathered will shape short-term and long-term planning, as well as give us data to pursue BOCES-wide and District-specific grant opportunities.
The survey covers five main areas:
• Social/Emotional Well-being & Mental Health
• Program Alignment between Districts & E2CCB
• Career/Educational Pathways for Life Beyond High School
• Equity & Inclusion
• Technology, Tools & Resources for Students
