Roycroft Chapter of the National Honor Society
Selection to the National Honor Society is based on four equally weighted criteria: scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Students are eligible for membership in the spring of their junior year or fall of their senior year. Students eligible for the National Honor Society must have earned a grade point average of 92.00 or above for at least five semesters. A five-member faculty council, appointed by the Principal, evaluates faculty/staff character recommendations of eligible students. The faculty council also evaluates each student’s leadership and service resumes. After this review, eligible students are selected for membership, and officially become members when they are inducted into the Roycroft Chapter of the National Honor Society.
