Welcome to the EAMS National Junior Honor Society. Club membership is by invitation only. If you are interested in being selected in the Spring of your 7th grade year, you must be an active student at the EAMS and the East Aurora community, maintain excellent grades and be an superior role model.
Your grades from 6th grade and the first semester of 7th grade will help determine the first step of being considered for membership. Students with a 95% or higher overall cumulative average will be consider for the next step in the application process, which is teacher recommendation based on student character traits. If being a member of the EAMS National Junior Honor Society is a goal you would like to achieve, keep your grades up, get involved at school and in your community and always set a great example for others!
Club meetings are held during the 5A lunch period about once a month. Meeting dates and location will be announced on the morning announcements during homeroom. Attendance at meetings is mandatory, unless you are receiving extra help from a teacher.
** Please note that your community service record sheet will be due by Friday, April 27, 2018. Each community service job should be verified with a signature from an adult from the event you volunteered at or a parent. You are required to complete 20 hours of community service as a member of the EAMS NJHS.
