What's new in Community Education for 2011
...and what would you like to do with your free time?
How about joining a community singing group led by longtime East Aurora music teacher Marcia LaForce to sing beloved pieces from America's rich musical heritage? Or you could learn to play bridge, or start your own blog, or begin a special knitting project.
Do you like the outdoors? You could learn to kayak, or find creative expression in winter digital photography. Indoors, you could also learn software to enhance your creative photography, or learn watercolor painting or glass crafts.
Take a creative writing class with Rick Ohler, a foreign language with Dr. Martha Horohoe, a fitness class with any number of our dedicated instructors...we can find a time to fit almost anyone's schedule.
East Aurora Schools' adult programming has many options for local fitness--yoga, strength training, aerobics and circuit training, available throughout the day. A no-cost and easy way to stay in shape is to enroll as a "hallwalker" with four evenings available for residents to walk in our safe, dry schools.
These are just a few of the many offerings for the upcoming trimester in East Aurora Community Education. We have sixty-five courses, twenty-two of them new, that are ready for registration now. Our courses are the most reasonably priced in the area, and we boast some of the finest faculty around.
It's easy to register online, or you may mail your registration with a check, or even walk in, school days from 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM, and 1:30 - 3:00 PM.
