Select a School
 Brownie Troop 303 and leader Kate Dempsey-Newell planted flowers and flags at the base of Parkdale Elementary's new sign on May 21, and posed for a photo when their job was done. To prepare for the job, they took a field trip to Lisa's Greenhouse where Lisa taught the girls about what plants need to grow and the difference between annuals and perennials as well as sun-loving and shade-loving plants.  The troop purchased some plants and others were donated. They will continue their gardening experience by adding bulbs in the fall. |
