Types of Pages

Mini Base

Article Library
An article library lets you post homework assignments that students can access from school or home. Each 'article' has a title that appears in bold text . You have the option to put in some short "teaser text" that gives a little more detail (this text is in the teaser text section)  The 'article body' section allows you to describe the assignment(s) in detail. You can include graphics, put in web site links, attach worksheets, list instructions etc. You pick a start date and end date for the assignment to be active on your web site.  You can inactivate the assignments but keep them on your web site so that they are available for editing and posting next year.  You can add clip art or other images, like the one shown here, to make the page more interesting.

Assignment Page
The Assignment Page offers teachers and other educators the ability to organize assignments in a user-friendly manner
within his or her own sections. Define unique categories for each assignment, assign due dates, and add detailed
descriptions for each assignment if desired. Assignments can also be posted on the calendar in that section. Visitors
to the page can view assignments based on the chosen category or associated due date.

Blog Page
A Blog Page is a collection of postings just as an Article Library is a collection of articles. A posting is an entry of information into a Blog Page. Until you add a posting to a Blog Page, it is empty.
Visitors can post a comment from the end-user website if comments are enabled by the author. Comments must be approved by an editor with privileges for that workspace before they will appear on the end-user website.

File Library Page
