Glogster is a free web 2.0 platform where teachers and students can create glogs and it doesn't require any
paper, markers, or glue.! A glog is like a poster, only better. A glog is an online poster
that is interactive! It allows students to add images, video files, sound files, text, and
hyperlinks. Glogs can be private or shared with the world because
they are published online.
Are you a Glogger? Check out these Glogs created by EAMS Six Graders in Ms. Arts and Mrs. Sperduto/Pohle's Class.
Several technology skills were practiced during this lesson:
Downloading "copyright-friendly" images using Google advanced image search techniques
Photo-editing techniques were enhanced through the use of Picnik.com
Students were exposed to "tabbed browsing" to streamline access to multiple websites
Students used Flip video cameras for digital storytelling-capturing a story that was collaboratively written to incorporate science concepts and vocabulary
