eahsEast Aurora High School is a positive physical, emotional, and intellectual environment. The school offers a variety of experiences, in and out of the classroom, which foster emotional and intellectual growth.

EAHS teachers use a variety of instructional approaches appropriate to students' needs. The outcome of the EAHS experience is to graduate young adults prepared to function successfully as lifelong learners and contributing, self-fulfilling, and caring members of a democratic society.

Approximately 90% of the Class of 2012 are attending a four or two-year college/university.  Seventy (70) percent of the Class of 2012 earned a Regents Diploma with Advanced Designation.  Eighty-five (85) percent of EAHS students participating in the Advanced Placement (A.P.) program earned a score of 3 or higher on their respective A.P. test.  The Class of 2007 had the highest percentage of graduates (93.8%) enrolling in a college/university within 16 months of graduation among all public high schools in upstate New York (Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse).

EAHS offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses in American History, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Economics, European History, English Literature, French, Spanish, Statistics, U.S. History and Government, and World History.

Recently completed construction projects have renovated the entire physical complex. The school contains classrooms with computers, telephones, voice, data and video communications.

The interscholastic athletic program is unmatched for a school with an enrollment of 725. Approximately 67% of the student body participates in at least one of our interscholastic athletic programs. In fact, Business First newspaper recently indicated that EAHS has the most successful sports program of any public high school in Western New York. EAHS has won 17 sectional championships in team sports since 2005, a record unmatched by any competitor in WNY. Recent division and sectional titles were earned by our varsity baseball, cross-country, tennis, swimming, wrestling, track and lacrosse teams. The Boys' Swimming team recently earned their 40th consecutive division championship and the Girls' Cross Country team earned their 4th consecutive state championship.

In addition to interscholastic athletics, EAHS sponsors a variety of extracurricular activities. Some examples of these activities are the school musical, school drama production, service organizations such as Key Club and SADD, and organizations such as Spirit Club and Student Government which enhance school life.
