What is the difference between Home and Careers and Family and Consumer Science?
Home and career skills are taught under the discipline of Family and Consumer Science. Just like computation skills are taught under the discipline of Mathematics. The Family and Consumer Science course is designed to prepare students to meet their present and future responsibilities as family and community members, consumers, home managers, and wage earners. The goal is to educate students to think constructively, make sound decisions, solve problems and manage resources.
