NYC Fashion Summer Camps are designed for teens entering 9th through 12th grades. Each week-long session will teach students the fundamentals of the fashion industry. Session A: June 23-29, 2013. The Barnard Pre-College Program provides a wonderful opportunity for rising high school juniors and seniors to enjoy a college experience while exploring the excitement of New York City. The Summer Workshop for High School Journalists will be held from August 12 to August 16, 2013. This intensive, five-day summer workshop is designed for Buffalo-area high school students heading into their junior or senior year who have a serious interest in journalism. The workshop will introduce students to basic skills in news reporting, writing, editing, interviewing, and the use of video. Students will get hands-on experience with Buffalo State’s state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Sessions will be taught by Buffalo State faculty and professional journalists. At CIA’s Pre-College Program 2013 students will spend two weeks using the tools and processes only available to CIA students. Also, earn college credits and sharpen your artistic skills this summer. Summer College Experience for High School Students - Students can register for a course at ECC this summer and pay only $55 per credit hour which includes all books and fees. Three (3) Days of Fashion 2013 – This program is an incredible opportunity for high school students to have three creative and inspiration-filled days. The Marist Summer Pre-College Program is a wonderful opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to get a head start in college. Recently, they have expanded their program to include the beautiful Florence, Italy, campus. This program allows students to utilize state-of-the-art technology, gain hands-on experience in their respective field and earn three college credits.
